Ooh... Do you have more info on the autocross? I could show up with inner tubes on my exhaust to make sure no one takes things too seriously.

It's at the Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg, looks like registration has closed but you can still show up and see if it actually filled up or if someone doesn't show up. 8-9 is show up and pre-registration.

Eh, I can't make this weekend, but my friends in their Merkur XR4ti and the Lotus 7 replica should be headed out. I'm going to try and make the last one in September. Not the Rockford one, the Schaumburg one. Although I may make the Rockford one, too, but we'll see.

Hopefully by then I have all the Bimmer stuff sold and a new ball joint for Miata, then I can participate! If not I will definitely comedown to watch since I am rite up 94, just north of Gurnee. Thanks for the heads up! :P
